Ukraine transforms itself into outright terrorist state — Foreign Minister Lavrov

The top Russian diplomat thanked the envoys for expressing solidarity with the Russian people following the March 22 terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert venue in suburban Moscow

MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. Ukraine has turned into a genuine terrorist state, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

"Today, Ukraine has become an outright terrorist state. For ten years, it has been terrorizing people inside the country and beyond," he pointed out at a meeting with foreign ambassadors dedicated to resolving the station in Ukraine.

Lavrov thanked the envoys for expressing solidarity with the Russian people following the March 22 terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert venue in suburban Moscow. "We received condolences from all the countries that are present here today and we know that almost all of you or your staff members took part in a mourning ceremony on the ninth day after the attack, which once again indicates our unity and determination to fight against all forms of terrorism without compromise and double standards, guided by the understanding that terrorism has no relation to any ethnic or religious group but is a global scourge," the top Russian diplomat emphasized.

On the evening of March 22, a terrorist attack targeted the Crocus City Hall music venue in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, just outside the Moscow city limits. According to the latest data, 144 people were killed and 551 were injured. Ten people have been arrested for their part in staging and carrying out the terrorist attack.
