NOVO-OGARYOVO, March 14. /TASS/. Over the past year, Russian companies have successfully substituted departed foreign players on the market, President Vladimir Putin noted at a meeting with members of the government. He noted that the quality of products was often better than before.
"Indeed, [the past year] was unique, because they (Russian companies - TASS) replaced what was previously produced by foreign market participants. And they replaced it, in my opinion, very worthy, even in many areas they improved both the quality and timing of deliveries to the market. They did a good job," the President said.
The head of state stressed that the tasks being solved in the economy "ultimately should be reflected in how people live, and this is the social sphere."
"We also have big plans here," the Russian President noted, handing over the floor to Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, who is in charge of the social sector.
