GROZNY, February 19. /TASS/. Over 16,000 volunteers have received training at the Russian Special Forces University to take part in Moscow’s special military operation, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said.

"We have just visited the Russian Special Forces University in Gudermes. <...> This is a facility where volunteers improve their firearms skills and study the best practices of combat operations in various conditions," he noted at a meeting with regional heads in the Chechen capital of Grozny.

"More than 16,000 people were trained [at the Russian Special Forces University] as of February. <...> This is a very good outcome; a great job has been done. After undergoing training, these people were sent to take part in the special military operation," Medvedev said.
