Putin jets to Riyadh from Abu Dhabi after holding talks with UAE president

ABU DHABI, December 6. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has wrapped up his work program in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is flying to Saudi Arabia.

On Wednesday, the Russian leader held talks with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi. In his opening remarks, Putin suggested focusing on bilateral relations and on the situation in hotspots around the world, such as in the area of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and in Ukraine.

The Russian president was given a spectacular welcome in Abu Dhabi. Among other events, fighter jets "painted" the sky over the UAE capital, spraying smoke in the colors of the Russian flag.
