Russian, Tajik presidents to discuss regional, international agenda on Tuesday

According to the Kremlin, Putin and Rahmon will sign a number of important bilateral documents following the talks

MOSCOW, November 20./TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon in Moscow on Tuesday to discuss bilateral strategic partnership, as well as issues on the regional and international agenda, the Kremlin press service reported.

"Talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will be held in Moscow on November 21, 2023," it said.

The presidents "plan to discuss the current state and prospects for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade, economic and humanitarian areas, other key aspects of the Russian-Tajikistan strategic partnership, as well as to exchange views on key regional and international issues," the press service went on to say.

According to the Kremlin, Putin and Rahmon will sign a number of important bilateral documents following the talks. In addition, the presidents will make statements for the press.
