MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. Russia's proposal to hold a meeting of regional ministers to discuss the settlement of the conflict between Israel and Palestine is still on the table, Russian Ambassador to Israel Anatoly Viktorov said on Rossiya-24 television.
"The proposal <...> to hold a meeting at the level of ministers of all regional countries remains relevant. Ideas shouldn’t be suggested from across the ocean. Instead, regional powers should play a key role here," the ambassador said.
"The US is acting like a bull in a china shop, which can cause not only dishes to get smashed, but also the shelves to come crashing down. They can make up whatever they want on this issue (conflict settlement - TASS), but, of course, there is a problem that is being exploited, including by our former American partners," Viktorov added.
He said it is necessary to ensure "the political and organizational unity of Palestine."
"This is one of the hurdles for the further advancement of the peace process," the diplomat said.
