ROSTOV-ON-DON, March 14. /TASS/. The situation along the combat engagement line in the Kherson Region is tense, with the Ukrainian side never stopping artillery attacks, acting head of the Kherson Region Vladimir Saldo told TASS on Tuesday.

"Tense," he said when asked about the situation in the Kherson Region, "Counterbattery activities continue across the river line, the Dnieper. There is shelling every day <…> from 50 to 150 shots along the entire contact line," he said.

According to Saldo, the combat engagement line in the Kherson Region is some 300 kilometers long. "This line runs along the entire Dnieper mouth, from Energodar in the Zaporozhye Region to the Dnieper-Bug estuary," he noted.
