The top diplomat said that Russia supported the focus of "Indian friends on strengthening true multilateralism"

NEW DELHI, March 1. /TASS/. Russia notes with satisfaction the significant creative potential of India's G20 Presidency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the exhibition L. N. Tolstoy - M. Gandhi in New Delhi on Wednesday.

"We are pleased to note the significant creative potential of India’s G20 Presidency, which is held under the motto One Earth, One Family, One Future, consonant with the philosophy of Tolstoy and Gandhi," he said.

Lavrov added that Russia supported the focus of "Indian friends on strengthening true multilateralism."

The Russian foreign minister arrived in India’s capital on Tuesday evening for a meeting of the G20 foreign ministers on March 1-2.
