Russia ready to achieve goals of special operation diplomatically — Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW, February 23. /TASS/. Russia is ready to take a political and diplomatic path to achieving the goals of its special military operation in Ukraine, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said in an interview with TASS.

"I would like to reiterate yet again that we are ready to achieve the goals of the special military operation - protecting the residents of Donbass, Ukraine’s demilitarization and denazification - by political and diplomatic means," the senior diplomat stressed.

He noted that this is hindered by "the Kiev regime’s absolutely unconstructive stance on this issue which, instigated by the West, openly declared its course toward Russia’s military defeat ‘on the battlefield’.".
