Kremlin declines to comment on reports Russian missiles transited Romanian airspace

It is stressed that the Moldovan Foreign Ministry earlier on Friday summoned the Russian ambassador "to point out to the Russian side an unacceptable violation" of the country's airspace

MOSCOW, February 10. /TASS/. The Kremlin declined to comment on reports that Russian missiles allegedly transited Moldovan and Romanian airspace on Friday.

"No, I wouldn’t be able to comment on it. That’s directly related to the special military operation. That’s what the Defense Ministry is in charge of," Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

The Moldovan Foreign Ministry earlier on Friday summoned the Russian ambassador "to point out to the Russian side an unacceptable violation" of the country's airspace, the ministry said.

As for Romania, Reuters reported, citing the country’s Defense Ministry, that the reports that two missiles transited its airspace on Friday weren’t confirmed.
