Ukrainian topic in UNSC being exhausted — Russian diplomat

According to Dmitry Polyansky, Western countries being unable to say anything new

UNITED NATIONS, June 21. /TASS/. The topic of Ukraine is being exhausted in the United Nations Security Council, with Western countries being unable to say anything new, Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dmitry Polyansky said on Tuesday.

"The general impression from the United Nations Security Council meeting (on incitement to violence in the context of the situation in Ukraine - TASS) is as follows: as a matter of fact, we were the only ones to stick to the point, citing Ukrainian politicians to back our words," he wrote on his Telegram channel. "All Western representatives burst into the old song about Russia’s evilness in principle. Everything unsubstantiated, as usual."

According to the Russian diplomat, Ukraine’s representative to the UN "focused not on quotes or examples but kept on saying that it is impossible to speak with Russia and trust it." "It looks like pacification of Ukraine by its Western allies is his biggest nightmare," he noted.

"In general, the topic of Ukraine in the Security Council is obviously being exhausted. Our opponents can say nothing new," he added.
