ANKARA, June 7. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Ankara with an official visit Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Lavrov will hold talks with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said earlier that the two ministers plan to discuss the situation around Ukraine, settlement in Syria, Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the situation in the Balkans, in Afghanistan and Central Asia. Lavrov and Cavusoglu will also discuss perspective of trade and economic cooperation amid Western anti-Russian sanctions.
