Moscow aware of Kiev’s provocations to accuse Russia of using mass destruction weapons

These provocations are highly likely as confirmed by the Kiev regime’s requests for the delivery of individual skin and respiratory protective gear as protection against toxic chemicals and biological warfare agents, Igor Kirillov said

MOSCOW, May 11. /TASS/. The Russian Defense Ministry has information that Ukraine is plotting provocations to accuse Russia of using weapons of mass destruction, Chief of Russia’s Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops Igor Kirillov said on Wednesday.

"The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has information that provocations are being plotted to accuse the Russian Armed Forces of using weapons of mass destruction and subsequently hold a probe under the ‘Syrian scenario’ making it possible to fabricate necessary proofs and designate culprits," Kirillov said.

These provocations are highly likely as confirmed by the Kiev regime’s requests for the delivery of individual skin and respiratory protective gear as protection against toxic chemicals and biological warfare agents, he stressed.

"The facts of the deliveries of antidotes to organophosphorus chemical agents to Ukraine cause concern," Kirillov added.

In 2022 alone, over 220,000 ampoules of atropine were delivered from the United States at the request of Ukraine’s Health Ministry along with preparations for special treatment and disinfection, the chief of Russia’s radiation, chemical and biological protection troops said.

"Therefore, the information received confirms that the United States is implementing an offensive military and biological program on Ukrainian territory aimed at studying the possibility of generating controlled epidemics on particular territories," he added.

Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine made it possible to foil the expansion of US military-biological presence in Ukraine and stop criminal experiments on civilians, the chief of Russia’s radiation, chemical and biological protection troops stressed.
