Russia won’t use its COVID-19 vaccine with political aims, says security chief

Moscow will continue providing humanitarian aid to foreign states regardless of their location, size or political influence, Nikolai Patrushev noted

MOSCOW, June 24. /TASS/. Unlike Western states, Russia will never use its COVID-19 vaccine with political aims, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said on Thursday during the Moscow Conference on International Security.

"Russia will never use the vaccine with political aims, like some Western states do, unfortunately," he said.

The security secretary stressed that Russia will continue providing humanitarian aid to foreign states regardless of their location, size or political influence. "We have another unquestionable priority - the people’s lives and health, regardless of the color of their skin, religious or political views. All lives matter," he stated.
