People injured in Moscow explosion in critical condition

According to reports, they have been taken to multidisciplinary hospitals where they are undergoing a series of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. The four people who sustained injuries in a blast in Moscow are considered to be in serious condition, an official at the city’s Health Department informed TASS.

"According to preliminary reports, the incident left four people injured; their condition is critical. They have been taken to multidisciplinary hospitals where they are undergoing a series of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, receiving the necessary medical attention," the official said.

An explosion occurred in the lobby of the Alye Parusa (or Scarlet Sails) high-rise residential complex in northwestern Moscow on Monday morning. The incident resulted in one fatality. A criminal investigation has been launched into the blast. Investigators and forensic experts from the Moscow Investigative Committee are inspecting the scene alongside emergency response teams.
