Ural River water near Orenburg falls to 1,185 cm, first time since flood started

The Orenburg administration clarified that the level of the Sakmara River also continues to decline

ORENBURG, April 14. /TASS/. The water level of the Ural River near Orenburg has dropped for the first time since the flood began and currently reaches 1,185 cm, head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Orenburg Region Alexander Sitnikov told TASS.

"As of 08:00 (06:00 Moscow time - TASS) it reaches 1,185 cm," he said.

The Orenburg administration clarified that the level of the Sakmara River also continues to decline, now the water level reaches around 739 cm.
