Ukrainian troops use high-precision shells to attack school in Donetsk

According to the mission, the use od such shells indicate that it was a "targeted attack"

DONETSK, March 7. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops used M982 Excalibur high-prevision guided artillery shells to hit a school in Donetsk, the mission of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) to the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) for issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes said on Tuesday.

"The enemy conducted fire from its positions near the settlement of Karlovka, from 155mm artillery systems, using M982 Excalibur guided shells," it wrote on its Telegram channel.

According to the mission, the use od such shells indicate that it was a "targeted attack".

Donetsk’s Mayor Alexey Kulemzin said earlier that the building of a school had been damaged in the city’s Kuibyshevsky district as a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops. According to the DPR’s mission, two 155mm shells were fired.

On January 6, the United States announced another package of military aid to Ukraine to a sum of more than three billion US dollars. Among other things, the aid included 500 M982 Excalibur GPS-guided shells.
