LUGANSK, February 1. /TASS/. Small mobile groups of the armed forces of Ukraine are attacking Russian forces in the Svatovo-Kremennaya zone several times a day, Vitaly Kiselev, a colonel of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) and a military expert, has told TASS.

"Our military stationed near Svatovo and Kremennaya have to repel about five or six attacks of small mobile groups every day," he said.

In his words, Kiev troops "suffer colossal losses" during their regular attacks.

"Our defenses there are good," he added.

Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) retired Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko said earlier that intense battles are raging near Kremennaya, and the Russian forces are having the upper hand.
