Russia increases fertilizer output by 7% in Q1 2025 — Rosstat

Ammonia production in January-March grew by 7.9% year-on-year, reaching 4.9 mln metric tons

MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. Russia increased fertilizer production by 6.9% year-on-year in January-March 2025, reaching 7.6 mln metric tons in terms of 100% nutrient content, according to data from the Russian State Statistics Service (Rosstat).

In March 2025, fertilizer output amounted to 2.6 mln metric tons, showing a 5.7% increase from the same period in 2024.

Ammonia production in January-March grew by 7.9% year-on-year, reaching 4.9 mln metric tons. Production in March 2025 gained 7.4% to 1.7 mln metric tons.
