MOSCOW, April 22. /TASS/. Russia’s pork exports grew 2.1-fold in January-March 2025 in money terms to over $180 mln, the Agroexport federal center reported.
"According to preliminary expert estimates, in the first three months of this year Russian companies supplied 76,000 tons of pork and byproducts worth over $180 bln to foreign markets. In physical terms, exports climbed by 72% year-on-year, while in value terms [supplies increased] 2.1-fold," the report said.
Vietnam, Belarus, and China are among three biggest buyers of Russian pork, according to the report.
"The export growth is connected with expansion of the supply geography. In Q1 [pork] was delivered to 32 countries, whereas in January-March 2025 [deliveries were carried out] to 43 countries," head of the Agroexport federal center Ilya Ilyushin was quoted as saying.
