Russian stocks down on completion of talks between Russian, US delegations

The MOEX was down by 1.62% at 3,254.85 points, while the RTS was down by 1.62% at 1,121.4 points

MOSCOW, February 18. /TASS/. Russia’s stock market is down amid completion of talks between delegations of Russia and the US, according to MOEX trading data.

As of 3:08 p.m. Moscow time (12:08 p.m. GMT) the MOEX Index was up by 0.28% at 3,317.52 points, while the RTS Index was up by 0.27% at 1,142.95 points. By 3:10 p.m. Moscow time (12:10 p.m. GMT) the MOEX Index had moved to the negative territory reaching 3,293.35 points (-0.46%), while the RTS was down by 0.46% at 1,134.67 points.

As of 3:40 p.m. Moscow time (12:40 p.m. GMT) the MOEX was down by 1.62% at 3,254.85 points, while the RTS was down by 1.62% at 1,121.4 points.

The yuan exchange rate added 0.64% to 12.411 rubles as of 3:08 p.m. Moscow time (12:08 p.m. GMT). By of 3:40 p.m. Moscow time (12:40 p.m. GMT) the yuan exchange rate had extended gains slightly to 0.79% as it traded at 12.431 rubles.
