MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. The net profit of Rosneft under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) dropped by 13.9% in January - September 2024 and totaled 926 bln rubles ($8.7 bln), the Russian oil producer said.
Revenues of the company soared by 15.6% to 7.645 trillion rubles ($71.8 bln). The decline in profits was driven by EBITDA contraction, the rise in loan interest rates and by non-monetary factor, including the exchange rate revaluation of currency liabilities and the effect of the income tax rate change.
EBITDA totaled 2.321 trillion rubles ($21.8 bln). The EBITDA margin stood at 30%. Specific costs of hydrocarbons production were $2.8 per barrel of oil equivalent over nine months of this year, the company said.
