MOSCOW, January 9. /TASS/. Transneft constructed and upgraded 42 tanks with the volume of 885,000 cubic meters last year, the Russian pipeline operator said.
"More than 800 facilities, including the replacement of 570 km of the linepipe segment, were commissioned within the framework of implementing the Program of development, technical upgrade and refurbishment. Forty-two tanks with the total volume of 885,000 cubic meters were built and upgraded," the company said.
"Construction of nineteen tanks with the total volume of 710,000 cubic meters is stipulated under the project of supporting reliability of the main pipelines system and keeping quality of oil export flows. Activities are on track," Transneft noted. Construction of ten more tanks having the volume of 440,000 cubic meters with phased commissioning by 2028 is also stipulated, it added.
