Moscow authorities hope new agreements to be made at BRICS+ Fashion Summit

According to Aleksey Fursin, the forum is "the confirmation that the entire professional community of these countries is ready to cooperate and promote their local brands in cooperation with Russia and with Moscow"

MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. Moscow city authorities reckon upon new agreements on collaboration between Russian and international designers to be made as part of the BRICS+ Fashion Summit, minister of the Moscow government and head of the department of culture said at the summit’s session.

The fashion week visited by about 1.5 mln was held in Moscow in 2022. Authorities of the Russian capital set new targets of bringing together not merely Russian region but also the international community of BRICS countries, Aleksey Fursin said.

"It seems to me that this forum is the confirmation that the entire professional community of these countries is ready to cooperate and promote their local brands in cooperation with Russia and with Moscow," Fursin noted.

The B2B show room is already working and "we hope it will bring us deals both between Russian designers and buyers and with international ones also. About 130 designers are presenting their products," the official added.
