Brent oil falls below $82 per barrel, first time since August 24

At the same time, futures for WTI oil with January delivery fell by 2.75% to $77.69 per barrel

MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. The price of Brent crude oil futures contract for January delivery on London’s ICE fell below $82 per barrel for the first time since August 24.

As of 20:34 Moscow time, the Brent price oil fell by 3.24% to $81.97 per barrel.

By 20:49 Moscow time, Brent oil reached $81.96 per barrel (-3.25%). At the same time, futures for WTI oil with January delivery fell by 2.75% to $77.69 per barrel.

Earlier it was reported that the US Department of Energy lowered the forecast for the price of Brent oil for 2023 to $83.99 per barrel from $84.09.
