MOSCOW, May 31. /TASS/. The price of a futures contract for Brent crude oil with August delivery on London’s ICE fell below $72 per barrel for the first time since May 4, 2023.

As of 13:32 Moscow time, the price of Brent fell to $72 per barrel (-2.29%). Then Brent slightly accelerated its decline, trading at $71.87 per barrel (-2.47%).

At the same time, futures for WTI crude oil with July delivery fell by 2.43% to $67.57 per barrel.
