MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. Russia’s government is confident that companies will be able to implement all planned projects connected with the Northern Sea Route (NSR), though commissioning periods on some of them were rescheduled due to sanctions pressure, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak wrote in an article for the Energy Policy magazine.
"Further prospects of increasing the NSR flow of cargo are related to the implementation of a whole number of large projects in the oil and gas sector, the sector of production of non-ferrous metals, as well as the port infrastructure development," he said.
"Despite the fact that over the external pressure and sanctions restrictions Russian companies were forced to reschedule commissioning periods of a number of major projects, they all are at the implementation stage and I am confident they will be successfully delivered," Novak added.
