MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. Russia expects to resolve all technical issues in the near future and establish stable oil supplies to Pakistan, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a briefing on Thursday.
"Preliminary agreements have been reached on the price. The delivery of a pilot batch of oil is being discussed with the prospect of further increase in volumes. In the near future, we hope to resolve all technical issues and establish a stable export of fuel to Pakistan," she said.
Earlier it was reported that the delivery of the first batch of crude oil from Russia to Pakistan was postponed from April to May.
In January, representatives of the governments of Pakistan and Russia reached a conceptual agreement on the supply of Russian oil and agreed before they begin to harmonize the issues of logistics, insurance, payment and export volumes. Pakistan must draw up an energy security plan. It provides for the import of oil, liquefied natural gas, pipeline gas and other fuels from Russia.
