MOSCOW, February 22. /TASS/. Synthetic rubber production in primary forms soared by 14.2% year-on-year to 121,000 metric tons in January 2023, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said on Wednesday.

Plastics production in primary forms lost 6.5% year-on-year and stood at 885,000 metric tons. The output of polymer-based paints and varnishes added 9.8% this January and totaled 88,400 metric tons.

Production of tires, cases and rubber bags fell by 42.3% year-on-year to 2.7 mln units.
