World oil prices

Brent crude oil price down below $83 per barrel first since January 12

The price of futures contracts of WTI crude oil for March 2023 delivery was also down by 3.54%

MOSCOW, February 1. /TASS/. The price of futures contracts of Brent crude oil for April 2023 delivery fell below $83 per barrel on London's ICE on Wednesday for the first time since January 12, according to trading data.

As of 08:11 p.m. Moscow time the Brent price was down by 2.9% at $82.98 per barrel.

By 08:46 p.m. the price of Brent oil extended losses to 3.58% trading at $82.4 per barrel, whereas the price of futures contracts of WTI crude oil for March 2023 delivery was down by 3.54% at $76.08 per barrel.
