MOSCOW, May 23. /TASS/. Tetra Pak continues operation on the Russian market, rumors that the company is leaving the Russian market are not consistent with the reality, a spokesperson with the company told TASS on Monday.

Earlier, there were media reports that the parent company Tetra Pak was planning to leave Russia.

"This information is not true. Currently, Tetra Pak continues to operate on the Russian market," the spokesperson said.

The company’s representative added that the production of packaging material at the Tetra Pak factory in the Moscow region and shipments to food industry enterprises continue.

Tetra Pak is a global leader in food processing and packaging solutions. The company employs more than 25,000 employees worldwide. The Tetra Pak plant in Lobnya near Moscow is the largest enterprise in Russia and Eastern Europe for the production of packaging material for liquid food products.
