Mazda Sollers in talks to resume supplies of components to plants in Russia — company

Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus is a joint venture between Sollers PJSC and the Japanese Mazda Motor Corporation

MOSCOW, May 18. /TASS/. The Mazda Sollers carmaker is in talks on resumption of supplies of components to plants in Russia, the company said in a statement. However, so far, the manufacturer is extending the corporate leave of employees at the plant in Vladivostok.

"Mazda Sollers announces the extension of corporate, fully paid leave for employees from May 19. Like other automakers, Mazda Sollers is currently experiencing a shortage of components, which is caused by a break in logistics chains. Supplies of components to the plant have been temporarily suspended. The company is currently negotiating the resumption of deliveries," the report says.

Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus is a joint venture between Sollers PJSC and the Japanese Mazda Motor Corporation.

Sollers Auto Group is a Russian automobile company working in partnership with the leaders of the world car industry - Ford and Mazda. Sollers owns production sites that manufacture Russian off-road vehicles and light commercial vehicles UAZ, as well as gasoline engines ZMZ.
