Russian Finance Minister calls to lift barriers in international trade

The current situation in the global economy is the direct consequence of sanctions and imbalances built up after the pandemic, Anton Siluanov said

MOSCOW, April 21. /TASS/. Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov urged participants in the plenary meeting of the International Monetary and Financial Committee to lift barriers in international trade to the benefit of all countries, the Ministry’s press service said.

"Barriers should be lifted in international trade to the benefit of all countries. Price disparities occurred recently will disappear then, inflation will go down, and incomes of citizens will grow," Siluanov said.

The current situation in the global economy is the direct consequence of sanctions and imbalances built up after the pandemic, the Minister added.
