MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. The latest achievements of the Russian defense industry and Western military hardware captured by the Russian army in Ukraine will be on display at the International Security Forum, which will be held in the Moscow Region on May 26-29, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu said in an interview with TASS.
"The forum will feature a number of exhibition displays, showcasing domestic achievements in the development of specialized equipment for security and intelligence, and law enforcement agencies, modern products from Russian defense industry enterprises, captured Western military hardware, and advanced technological solutions for ensuring security," he said.
Shoigu noted that, unlike previous meetings of high-level representatives overseeing security issues, "all law enforcement agencies, major state corporations, and major banks and companies will participate in the forum as exhibitors." "The program of thematic events includes roundtables, scientific sessions, and briefings on a wide range of issues, such as ensuring international information security, the use of artificial intelligence technologies, countering neocolonialism, terrorism, radical ideology, disinformation and manipulation, combating illegal migration, and many others," the Russian Security Council head noted.
According to him, the forum "has no analogues in the world in terms of the number of agencies and companies involved, the scale, or the richness of the program."
"The Russian Security Council is making efforts to ensure the broadest possible representation of foreign partners at the forum," Shoigu continued. "Invitations have been sent to presidential advisers on national security, heads of law enforcement agencies and special services, defense ministers, deputy prime ministers, and representatives of international organizations from around the world. Many partners have already confirmed their participation. We expect more than 150 delegations."
"We expect the participants to send interdepartmental delegations, so that they could attend as many diverse thematic events as possible, taking place in parallel," the Security Council Secretary added.
