MOSCOW, February 22. /TASS/. Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicted up to 230 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed three field ammunition depots over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Battlegroup South Spokesman Vadim Astafyev told TASS on Saturday.

"Enemy’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to over 230 personnel, three armored combat vehicles, including a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, three pickup trucks, four field artillery guns (two of them of produced in the West) and three field ammunition depots," Astafyev added.

According to him, Battlegroup West units improved their tactical position and inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of Ukrainian army’s three mechanized brigades and an assault brigade near the settlements of Artyom, Predtechino, Seversk, Konstantinovka, Levanevsk, Verkhnekamensk, Chasov Yar and Ulakly.
