MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. Russian air defenses eliminated and intercepted 46 Ukrainian drones over five Russian regions in the early hours of Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"During the past night, the Kiev regime’s attempted terrorist attacks on facilities in Russia with the use of fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles were thwarted. On-duty air defenses intercepted and destroyed 46 Ukrainian UAVs, including 17 over the Bryansk Region, 12 over the Kursk Region, six over the Voronezh Region, seven over the Rostov Region, and four over the Astrakhan Region," the ministry said.
