MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. A group of the Russian Pacific Fleet’s corvettes practiced interoperability with ships of the Thai Navy during drills in the Gulf of Siam, the Fleet’s press office reported on Tuesday.
"The Pacific Fleet’s naval group comprising the corvettes Gromky, Rezky and Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov and the tanker Pechenga completed the program of its business call at the port of Sattahip, after which it took part in a naval exercise with ships of the Navy of the Kingdom of Thailand," the press office said in a statement.
In the Gulf of Siam, the Russian and Thai naval ships practiced joint maneuvering, communications and other types of interaction, it specified.
"After the drills, the naval group continued accomplishing long-distance deployment missions in the Asia-Pacific region," the Fleet’s press office reported.
