ARKHANGELSK, April 16. /TASS/. Taking additional measures to improve civil defense and ensure the security of citizens in Northwestern Russia is more important than ever amid the intensified subversive activity of neo-Nazi Ukrainians on Russian soil, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev said.
Commenting on extra steps to improve civil defense and ensure the security of residents in Russia’s Northwestern Federal District in opening remarks at a regular annual conference underway in Arkhangelsk, Patrushev said: "The issue is becoming increasingly relevant amid the intensified subversive activity of neo-Nazi Ukrainians who have been using Fascist methods in our country."
The top Russian security official attributed the sabotage on the part of what he called the criminal Kiev regime to a lack of victories on the battlefield. "With support from Anglo-Saxons and their henchmen, [the Kiev regime] has been conducting subversive attacks against civilian facilities, attacking borderline Russian regions while using combat weapons against civilians, carrying out terrorist attacks in crowded places and plotting assaults on government officials, public figures and reporters," Patrushev concluded.
