Two Ukrainian soldiers surrendered, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported

MOSCOW, December 10. /TASS/. Russian forces destroyed roughly 60 Ukrainian troops and captured two in the Kherson area over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Sunday.

"In the Kherson direction, as many as 40 Ukrainian personnel and three motor vehicles were destroyed as a result of damage inflicted by combined firepower," the ministry said in a statement.

"With support of artillery and army aviation in the Kherson area near the Gavrilovka settlement the Russian military inflicted damage on the enemy’s side," the statement reads.

"The enemy's losses amounted to up to 60 troops, two motor vehicles and one Gvozdika motorized artillery system. Two Ukrainian soldiers surrendered," the statement added.
