High terrorist threat level extended indefinitely in several Crimean districts

The yellow terrorist threat level will be effective at facilities of the regional ministries of transport, utilities, health, energy, industrial policy, and water management

MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. /TASS/. The high (yellow) terrorist threat level has been extended indefinitely in Crimean municipalities in the vicinity of the Crimean Bridge and in border areas, Crimea’s head, Sergey Aksyonov, said on Friday.

"In order to ensure security and anti-terrorism protection of the Republic of Crimea and its citizens, a high (yellow) terrorist threat level will be effective from 08:00 p.m. on February 5, 2023 in several municipalities and at several facilities until further notice," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The yellow terrorist threat level will be effective at facilities of the regional ministries of transport, utilities, health, energy, industrial policy, and water management.

"The situation in the region is fully controlled by the executive authorities and local self-governments. Law enforcement agencies ensure the security of the Republic of Crimea, its residents and guests," Aksyonov added.

The yellow terrorist threat level has been in force in Crimea since April 11, 2022.
