MOSCOW, April 7./TASS/. Militants from a nationalist battalion have shelled near Kharkov vehicles carrying civilians who wanted to independently leave for Russia. Some people were wounded, Mikhail Mizintsev, chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, said on Thursday.

At checkpoints at the exit from the settlements of Dergachi and Slatini in the Kharkov region, militants from a nationalist battalion fired at cars with civilians who were trying to leave in the direction of the Russian Federation.
