PARIS, February 11. /TASS/. Former French prime minister Jean-March Ayrault has been appointed the country’s foreign minister to replace Laurent Fabius, the Elysees Palace said on Thursday.
Newly appointed French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault may represent his country at the Munich Security Conference instead of Laurent Fabius, a French diplomatic source told TASS on Thursday.
"Mr. Ayrault will take office tomorrow. He may come to the Munich conference," the source said, adding that other diplomat could represent France if Ayrault is unable to come.
