The Russian president praised the conversation with his American counterpart and called it constructive

WASHINGTON, May 19. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump said that progress was made during the phone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

"We just spent two and a half hours talking to Vladimir Putin, and I think some progress has been made," he said at a bill signing ceremony in the White House Rose Garden.

Putin and Trump held phone talks on Monday. According to the Russian leader, they lasted more than two hours. The Russian president praised the conversation with his American counterpart and called it constructive.
