Meeting between top diplomats, defense chiefs of Ukraine, UK underway in London

The agenda includes "ways to make Ukraine stronger and guarantees of lasting peace and security"

MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiga and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov are holding a meeting in London with their British counterparts, David Lammy and John Healey, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

The agenda includes "ways to make Ukraine stronger and guarantees of lasting peace and security."

The Ukrainian delegation that arrived in London earlier comprises Sibiga, Umerov and Andrey Yermak, head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office.

A British government official said earlier that talks on a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict, scheduled to be held in London on Wednesday at the level of foreign minister, had been postponed. Discussions will instead take place among senior officials.
