A Pentagon spokesperson responded to a TASS request to clarify whether the US was providing intelligence to Kiev by saying that the Defense Department had received orders to pause all assistance to Ukraine

WASHINGTON, March 11. /TASS/. The United States will immediately resume intelligence sharing and security assistance to Ukraine, according to a joint statement released after the US-Ukrainian talks in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

"The United States will immediately lift the pause on intelligence sharing and resume security assistance to Ukraine," the document says.

The UK’s Daily Mail newspaper reported earlier that the United States was no longer sharing intelligence with Ukraine on the decision of US President Donald Trump. The newspaper pointed out that the country not only stopped sending US intelligence to Ukraine, but also banned the UK from sharing it with Kiev.

Trump ordered the suspension of all military aid to Ukraine shortly after a contentious meeting with Vladimir Zelensky at the White House on February 28. This decision took effect the morning of March 4 and applied to all US military equipment not currently in Ukraine, including weapons on planes and ships or awaiting shipment in transit zones in Poland.
