Ukraine-US talks in Jeddah continue — chief of Zelensky’s office

The first round of talks lasted approximately four hours, after which the parties took a short break

MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. Delegations from Ukraine and the United States have resumed their discussions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, following a brief pause, according to Andrey Yermak, the chief of Vladimir Zelensky's office, who shared the update on his Telegram channel.

"The work is continuing," he stated.

The first round of talks lasted approximately four hours, after which the parties took a short break.

The Ukrainian delegation includes Andrey Yermak, the head of Zelensky’s office; Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiga; and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. From the US side, the participants are Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz. According to Ukrainian media, the discussions are focusing on several key topics, including an agreement on mineral resources, the resumption of US arms deliveries and intelligence support for Ukraine, as well as potential steps for Kiev to take in order to resolve the conflict with Russia. The talks are being conducted behind closed doors.
