MINSK, March 5. /TASS/. Moscow and Washington could form an alliance, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said.

"It is quite possible. Nothing is impossible. Russia will always be an ally to you - after all, it is the most militarily dominant state - but not against anyone," he told US blogger Mario Nawfal in an interview.

"So that the planet remains stable, so that there are no devastating wars like in the Middle East or Ukraine, so that there are no conflicts, this alliance between Russia and the United States is possible and very important," he continued. "The union is very important for economic development."

The Belarusian president pointed out that both Russia and the United States would greatly benefit from good relations with each other.
