DUBAI, February 10. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump is unlikely to decide to carry out a strike on Iran because he lacks the courage to do so, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, an elite branch of Iran’s armed forces) Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said.
"Trump does not have the courage to attack Iran," he stressed to Mehr News on the sidelines of a rally marking the 46th anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution.
"Iran, as a powerful nation, does not bow to coercion," Hajizadeh added.
On February 4, Trump signed an executive order to reinstate maximum US pressure on Iran. Following his 2024 election victory, he asserted that he did not rule out a war with the Islamic republic.
