The army press service reported that no interceptors were launched

TEL AVIV, December 2. /TASS/. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out retaliatory strikes on an area in Lebanon from where rockets were fired overnight at a populated area in the north of the country, the army press service reported.

"Following the report regarding sirens that sounded overnight in Moshav Dishon in northern Israel, several launches from Lebanese territory toward Israel were identified. In accordance with protocol, no interceptors were launched," the statement said.

"In response, IDF artillery struck the area from which the launch was carried out, and an IDF aircraft struck the cell that carried out the launch," the press service added.
