Kazakh leader reaffirms course for developing cooperation with Russia

ASTANA, November 9. /TASS/. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reaffirmed Astana’s course for deepening cooperation with Moscow following talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"I would like to reaffirm Kazakhstan’s commitment to further deepen the comprehensive cooperation with Russia," Tokayev said.

The Russian leader is staying in Astana on an official visit. Putin and Tokayev attended the plenary session of the 19th Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum, currently taking place in Kostanay, by video link.
